Part-Time Junior Paralegal

Jr. ParalegalOur client, a leading organization in the education sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal to join their team. As a Jr. Paralegal, you will be an integral part of the Litigation Department supporting legal professionals in managing complex case documentation and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have paralegal certification and 4-5 years of litigation, eDiscovery, and/or employment law, demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and meticulous attention to detail, which will align successfully within the organization.Location: Los Angeles, CAPay Range: $31-$43 per hour Duration: 10 monthsShift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday (1 - 2 days per week in office)What's the Job?Review and redact records to respond to public records requests and subpoenas efficiently and accurately.Develop and maintain detailed tracking charts, including document dates, custodians of records, and case attorneys.Organize large-scale document productions to facilitate review and reporting on case statuses.Communicate with clients to gather relevant records and provide updates on case progress.Utilize Adobe Acrobat for Bates numbering, redactions, and electronic document organization.What's Needed?Paralegal CertificationMinimum of 4-5 years of direct experience in a firm performing litigation, eDiscovery, and/or employment lawStrong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, including Bates numbering and redaction techniques.Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage complex case files and documentation.Proactive communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully and execute tasks accurately.Experience handling legal records, subpoenas, and evidence preservation processes is preferred but not mandatory.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work with a reputable organization in a dynamic legal environment.Hybrid work arrangement with equipment provided to support your productivity.Part-time schedule that offers work-life balance while engaging in meaningful legal support work.Collaborative team environment that values diversity and inclusion.Potential for professional growth within a supportive organization.
