Shift A - Tues-Friday 5am-3:30pm

This opportunity is based on a Material Handler career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and designated storage locations.

Review production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine materials that need to be moved or distributed.

Transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage locations or other designated departments.

Sort and organize inventory on racks, shelves, or in bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.

Pull and distribute materials, tools, and stock items to production employees and assembly lines.

Assemble customer orders and stage them on pallets, shelves, or designated shipping areas.

Prepare orders for packing and shipping.

Label materials with proper identifying information.

Record quantities of materials received, stored, and distributed.

Weigh and count materials to verify accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Arrange stock and components in the correct sequence for assembly operations.

Enter and maintain inventory information within the computer system.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work environment.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Minimum of 1-3 months of related warehouse, material handling, or inventory experience preferred.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and recordkeeping.

Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.

Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.

Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.

Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.

Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.

Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.

Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.

Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.

Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
