Location: Olathe, Kansas

Short‑term acute care telemetry unit. Travel assignment starts 06/08/2026, runs 13 weeks, 3x12 Night shift schedule. Weekly pay $2,082-$2,155.

Setting: short‑term acute care telemetry unit

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; identify arrhythmias and respond per protocol

Administer medications and infusions, including heparin drips, TPN, and PCA as ordered

Provide direct patient care with an approximate 5:1 RN‑to‑patient ratio; assist with activities of daily living as needed

Document in the EPIC electronic medical record and communicate changes to the care team

Support patients with post‑operative needs in general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, and spine; manage cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones as appropriate

Participate in discharge planning and patient education to support safe transitions

Requirements

Active KS RN license or Compact RN license

ACLS and BLS certifications

2+ years of recent Telemetry experience in a hospital setting (within the last 18 months)

Background in General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics & Spine; familiar with cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones

Ability to float to all acute care units

Weekend requirements: every other weekend
