Tekberry is seeking a highly qualified Nursing Assistant to work with our client, an internationally renowned university.

This position requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to multitask efficiently and accurately. Successful candidates provide compassionate, professional support to participants and work collaboratively to meet the needs of the unit.
Perform routine clinical measurements, tests, and specimen collection according to study protocols and unit procedures, following appropriate training. Assist with specimen handling and processing according to study requirements and training.
Document measurements and completed activities accurately and promptly in Epic and other designated records.
Support participant comfort needs, including assistance with research meals and refreshments as directed.
Support unit operations through supply management and routine administrative and logistical tasks.
Collaborate with nursing and research staff to support participant needs and changing unit priorities.
Maintain participant privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and institutional policies, and follow basic Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles relevant to assigned responsibilities.
Follow unit procedures for infection prevention and participant safety.
Two-year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Experience as a nursing assistant, medical assistant, or in a similar patient care role; clinical research experience is preferred.
Experience with routine clinical measurements, EKGs, and specimen collection or handling.
Familiarity with Epic or another electronic health record system.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software.
Ability to communicate professionally, both in writing and verbally.
General knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to follow clinical procedures and study-specific instructions.
Ability to document activities accurately and communicate effectively with participants and team members.
Applicable certifications or licenses required for assigned duties, with appropriate training and demonstrated competency for clinical procedures.
