Would you like to be part of a company involved in the transmission of clean drinking water for more than 165 years? the nation’s leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries, has an immediate opening for a Buyer/Planner in our Cleveland, TN facility.
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain day to day communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, system data integrity, and ordering parameters for individual materials
Maintain ideal inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries, while maximizing turns, and minimizing carrying costs
Understand the dynamics of effective teamwork to attain higher levels of performance
Knowing role on team, based on project/task
Ability to blend multiple sources of data to formulate opinions and recommendations
Exposure to global thought process and diversity.
Ability to identify roadblocks in material/information flow and manage exceptions
Demonstrated Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
