Operating Room Nurse - Perioperative - Full Time

You have an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and strong commitment to providing excellent care to our patients. Demonstrate knowledge of age specific care for pediatric, adolescent patient populations.

Possess organizational skills, which include prioritization, planning, assessing, implementing, evaluating, teaching, and delegating.

Demonstrate effective working relationships with employees, physicians and leadership.

Demonstrate ability to act efficiently and rationally in any emergency.

Clear and detailed knowledge of safety, patient rights, infection control, risk management, equipment usage, and OR standards.

Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care

Bachelor's degree in nursing

Current Kentucky State Nursing License

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the operating room as a circulator and scrub nurse
