Systems Engineer

This position is for a Systems Engineer in either Aurora, CO; You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. You will play a critical role in the development and integration of software systems by applying model-based approaches to define, analyze, and manage system requirements and designs in an Agile software development context.

Support trade studies, impact analyses, and design reviews with digital artifacts

Participate in program milestone events including customer meetings, government testing events, and discrepancy review boards

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline

Minimum 3+ years of systems engineering experience with at least 1 year applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles

Demonstrated experience in requirements management including development, traceability, flow-down, and verification planning across system lifecycle

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams

Experience with advanced MBSE capabilities including model integration, system simulation, and digital engineering workflows

Experience with software-defined interfaces and data formats (XML, JSON, YAML) for interface specifications

Familiarity with cloud architectures, containerization, and deployment requirements for US DoD environments

Experience supporting government testing events, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and formal verification processes

Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile collaboration and DevOps tools
