Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN) - Day Shift

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. 750 referral bonus available.

RN - ER

Work day shifts with every other weekend schedule

• Minimum one year recent ER experience required
• Travel experience and Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for diverse patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in high acuity, high volume emergency department with 32 rooms
• Alabama nursing license required
• 30-minute lunch break required with no skipped meals policy
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care/management, IV starts, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration, ortho-trauma care, identifying and reporting abuse (pediatrics), near drowning (pediatrics), respiratory infections (pediatrics), and seizures (pediatrics)
• Weekend coverage required

This healthcare facility operates a Level II trauma center with a high-volume emergency department featuring 32 rooms. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services for patients of all ages and maintains interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. The emergency department handles a wide range of conditions and maintains high standards for patient care in a fast-paced environment.
