Salary: $55.00 to $70.00 per hour.

Registered Nurse - Catalina Island
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for a dynamic healthcare environment on Catalina Island. Flexible schedules with 12‑hour night and day shifts support work‑life balance.

Responsibilities
Under direction, oversee and perform a variety of professional nursing services in a hospital, emergency, or outpatient setting, including acts as charge nurse for assigned locations and shifts.

Plan, organize, oversee, and personally conduct the delivery of patient care as directed by physicians and other higher‑level nursing staff in hospital, emergency room, or outpatient settings.

Act as the team leader with other professionals and paraprofessionals in the delivery of patient care services.

Oversee compliance with infection control and safety regulations of the hospital.

Plan, organize, and coordinate the admission of patients: establish patient care plans and coordinate under the direction of the M.D./DO plan of care.

Maintain patient charts covering treatments, care, and progress.

Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, medical staff, and other colleagues in the care team.

Act as liaison between nursing and other units.

Consult with other professional staff on the care of patients and the provision of nursing services.

Experience

Two years of experience performing professional nursing duties, preferably in a small general acute care hospital.

Two years of bedside nursing experience in a medical‑surgical unit.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid certificate of registration issued by the State of California Board of Registered Nurses

CPR, BLS, ACLS certifications
