Rigging Slinger

Duties

You will apply a thorough knowledge of rigging principles and techniques relative to load stress and ability to move objects.

You will utilize a working knowledge of submarines, and or surface ship systems, components, compartments and tanks.

You will ensure all bells on cranes are operational, tracks are clear and moving and the tower and bool are before rotating or tracking the crane.

You will direct the movement of portal and hammer head or mobile cranes and derricks.

You will be responsible for instructing apprentice helpers, rigger workers and or riggers in assigned work.
