Courier Position
Are you someone who enjoys being out in the field, staying active, and being a trusted point of contact for clients? First Legal is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Courier to support our San Diego operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in the legal processsafely and accurately transporting documents, filing at local courthouses, and supporting time-sensitive service requests throughout San Diego County and surrounding areas.
Pick up and deliver legal documents, mail, packages, and boxes to businesses, residences, and courthouses
File documents at County Courthouses and retrieve copies of official records
Complete process serving requests as assigned
Represent First Legal professionally at all times while on the road
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 points or fewer)
- Reliable personal vehicle (truck, van, or large SUV a plus)
- Valid auto insurance (verified quarterly)
- Prior courier or professional driving experience
- 5+ years of general work experience
- Courteous driving habits and strict adherence to traffic laws
- High school diploma or GED
Use of a dolly for larger deliveries as needed
Willingness to work occasional overtime
Budgeted Hours: 40 hours per week, plus occasional overtime
Pay: $20$22 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement
