The Role: High-Acuity Care in a New Frontier

Are you looking for the clinical complexity of a big-city ICU with the lifestyle of a premier outdoor destination? The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system in Wausau to staff a brand-new, state-of-the-art Cardiac Tower .

You'll manage complex cardiothoracic and post-surgical patients in a unit designed with the latest medical technology and a workflow built for nurse efficiency.

Wausau is Wisconsin's hidden gem for healthcare professionals. Financial Freedom: Wausau offers a cost of living roughly 15-20% lower than major metro areas, meaning luxury living and homeownership are actually within reach.

Spend your time off on the trails or at Granite Peak , not sitting in traffic.
Outdoor Paradise: From kayaking and hiking to some of the best skiing in the Midwest, Wausau is built for those who love to be outside.
A "New Build" Experience: Most nurses spend their careers in aging facilities. You will be practicing in a newly expanded cardiac-focused tower , featuring modern aesthetics and optimized workspaces.

Advanced Clinical Skills: Gain ICU-level exposure to drips, chest tubes, central lines, and advanced telemetry.

RN license (WI or compact eligible).
Experience: Whether you are an experienced RN or a New Graduate with a passion for critical care, we provide the mentorship you need.
ACLS preferred (we will provide training if needed).
