Ferrellgas is looking for a unique, combo position-part Material Handler, part DOT driver support. If you like variety, this job gives you both: you'll inspect, fill, and load propane cylinders, and you'll also step in on deliveries when the team needs an extra hand. It's honest, hands-on work where you stay busy, moving and make a real impact. You'll need (or be willing to get a a CDL A or B with hazmat and tanker, be comfortable lifting heavy cylinders, and be the kind of person who can work independently and get the job done right.

Based on business needs and qualifications, the Material Handler- DOT would also be required to:
Load, secure, transports, delivery, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations
Follow DOT related safety procedures including safety inspections on equipment, supplies, and vehicles
Performs responsibilities in on-call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 1+ years' of related work experience.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred or willingness and ability to obtain license in a quick and timely manner
• Ability to pass DOT physical and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
