Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Profession: Dental Hygienist
Shift: 8 Hrs
Hours per Shift: 5x8 Hr
Hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
Certifications: CPR certification, X-ray training or certification.
Must-Have: GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience. Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient.
Handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations.
All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills.
A strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members is essential.
GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required.
Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which the hygienist works.
Record and review patient medical histories.
Uphold office policy including HIPAA and OSHA.
Order and keep track of inventory as needed.
This job operates in a medical/clinical environment.
The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones.
This is to protect themselves and their patients from infectious disease.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks.
This will require OSHA training.
