Dietitian Part Time - Hospital Healthcare

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Dietitian at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Hillcrest in Waco, TX.

Flexible Hours. Weekday and/or Weekend Hours Available

About the Hospital: Hillcrest Hospital is a 260-bed healthcare facility and is part of the Baylor Scott & White Health System. It is a Level II Trauma Center and has a Level III NICU, two intensive care units and an inpatient rehab. Hillcrest offers a range of medical specialties, including cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, and more, and has a strong commitment to providing community outreach and education. At this location, clinical dietitians are able to cover multiple medical units and explore their clinical interests. Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD eligible
Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Conditions of employment may or may not include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
