RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

Job Description At Washington Center for Dentistry you will have access to a number of high performing doctors and staff. Assisting during Dental Procedures: Sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for dental procedures.

Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.

Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist.

Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.

Update and maintain accurate patient records, including medical and dental histories.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.

Assist with scheduling patient appointments and managing the office's appointment calendar.

Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, treatment details accurately and confidentially.

Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient files.

(Prepare and maintain dental impressions, casts, and models.

Fabricate temporary crowns and bridges based on the dentist's instructions.

Ensure that lab selected has necessary records for fabrication of restoration and or appliance.
