Additionally, this position assists with operational recruitment activities, represents GGC at on and off-campus events and helps maintain student recruitment systems which support overall institutional enrollment. The admissions counselor plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment with the expectation of continuous improvement and first-class customer service. Manage admissions-related appointments for both scheduled and walk-ins.

Review assigned applicant files for completion and for admissions decisions/assist with walk-in and telephone inquiries/respond to student inquiries through use of social media, email, texting and other communication methods.

Responsible for designated projects within the Office of Admissions.

Participate in projects that support enrollment management services goals of the college and other duties as assigned.

Provide support to the One Stop Shop by acting as next level support for prospective students in need of assistance.

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

Bi-lingual a plus

Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.

Ability to maintain knowledge of, familiarity with and experience in the admissions field and interpreting policies, procedures, articulation agreements, recruitment strategies, and proposed legislation that may affect admissions.

Ability to work independently and develop project timelines and associated tasks to be completed.

Knowledge of and experience with computer systems and job-related software
