As a Field Engineer III , you'll be the bridge between engineering, construction, and our clients. You'll spend your time where the work is happening, solving real-world technical challenges, building trusted relationships, and helping deliver complex industrial projects from the ground up. As a Field Engineer III, you'll serve as a trusted technical resource by:

Providing technical support on active jobsites and responding to field or client technical issues.

Reviewing electrical designs and validating installations during construction.

Serving as the primary liaison between engineering, construction teams, clients, vendors, and partner engineering firms.

Building strong client relationships through regular communication during and between projects.

Leading small projects while coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.

Supporting project pursuits by collaborating with project managers and estimators on proposals.

Acting as an owner's representative to ensure project expectations are met.

Supporting 3D/BIM model coordination and documenting as-built information as needed.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, takes ownership of technical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Five or more years of experience in construction, field engineering, or a related engineering role. Strong understanding of construction processes, field coordination, and project execution.

Experience interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other engineering or project management software.

Rather than working behind the scenes, you'll be onsite helping guide construction, partnering directly with clients, and influencing the success of large-scale industrial projects from kickoff through completion.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineers, project managers, designers, construction professionals, and clients while expanding your technical expertise and leadership skills. Every project presents new challenges, new opportunities to learn, and the chance to see your work come to life in the field.

Travel: This position is part of our National Traveling Team. Unlike roles that require constant relocation, Field Engineers are typically assigned to one project for the duration of its lifecycle. Most assignments last 8 months to 2 years, allowing you to become an integral part of the project team, build strong relationships with clients and coworkers, and see the project through from startup to completion before moving on to your next assignment.
