Job Description:

Position Type: First Timers - IMCU/Step Down RN

Floating: Yes, will float between units

On-Call Requirement: No

Weekend Shifts: Required (6 shifts per schedule period)

Block Schedules: Not required

Patient Ratios: 1:4

Special Requirements:

Experience with cardiac drips

Post cath lab procedural care

Trach/vent care

Hours: 48-hour shifts approved

Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care

Total Staffed Beds: 379

Level II Trauma Center

Department Uniform/Dress Code:

- Licensed Nursing Personnel (RN, LVN):

• Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire (scrub tops may have colored piping)
• Print tops not acceptable except in specific areas (PED, PICU, NICU, L&D, Mom/Baby)

- Unlicensed Personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT):

• Solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire
• Print tops not acceptable except in noted areas
