We are searching for a dedicated and meticulous Billing Specialist to join our fast-paced legal firm. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Accounts Payable (AP) and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the legal industry. This is a permanent role that offers the chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the overall financial health of our company.
Hybrid remote

As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our firm. Managing the entire billing cycle, from invoice creation to payment collection.
Collaborating with the accounts payable team to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Maintaining up-to-date billing records and reports.
Ensuring compliance with all legal and company policies regarding billing procedures.
Providing excellent customer service to clients, responding to billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Identifying and implementing strategies to improve the billing process and efficiency.
Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of billing activities.
A minimum of five years of experience in billing or a similar role, preferably within the legal industry.
Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with billing software.
A thorough understanding of billing procedures and best practices.
