GHD has a great opportunity for an experienced Transportation Engineer in our Central Region!

Conducting and preparing a variety of transportation analyses and traffic impact studies, including traffic impact analysis, traffic signal warrant analysis, intersection design studies, safety studies, bicycle, and pedestrian planning studies.

Conducting field reviews and assessing existing conditions

Executing operational analyses and traffic simulations

Applying access management principles to improve corridor operations

Performing historical crash reviews and advanced safety analyses

Preparing high-quality technical reports, memorandums, and project documentation

Responsible for some business development and marketing activities, proposal writing, and maintaining client relations.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree

Minimum 5 years transportation engineering experience

Professional Engineering License desired

Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification desired

Familiarity with HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic and SIDRA/RODEL traffic capacity analysis software

Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil3d and possess ability to become proficient in each, desired
