Auditor Senior - Remote

A fast-growing, tech-powered, people-first CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead engagements, mentor staff, and work directly with clients across a range of industries. Senior Auditor Benefits and Compensation:
In office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday, client sites as needed

Senior Auditor Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience
At least 2 years in public accounting
Experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Supervisory experience coaching and developing staff
Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
Senior Auditor Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience with at least 2 in public accounting
Proven ability to lead engagements from planning through completion
Solid GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers
Proficiency with audit software and Excel
Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Parsippany with client site work as needed
Senior Auditor Preferred Background and Skills:
CPA license, or actively pursuing certification
Public accounting or CPA firm background
Familiarity with technology-driven audit solutions, including Thomson Reuters
Passion for coaching and developing staff
Process improvement mindset, using technology to drive efficiencies
