Registered Nurse Opportunity
Semmes Murphey Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is hiring. We are looking for a registered nurse to circulate in our operating rooms. You will assist physicians during surgical procedures, in addition to supervising and directing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
We are a single specialty ASC with NO call, NO holidays and NO regularly scheduled weekends.
Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies; assists with inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels in the admission area
Aids physician during surgical procedures; Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies, and operating room activities; Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol; uses equipment effectively by anticipating patient needs and providing appropriate care
Develops a plan of care for the patient based on assessment data and implements admission care (e.g., evaluates chart, administers medication) and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
Nursing degree from an accredited school
One (1) year experience as a circulating nurse in Neurosurgery
Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center

RN license (active) in appropriate states
