Cleaning/ Janitorial Maintenance

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, dependable independent contractor to provide commercial floor-care and related cleaning services at grocery store locations. This opportunity includes routine floor maintenance as well as occasional specialty projects.

Operate an automatic floor scrubber on resilient tile, polished concrete, and other approved surfaces.

Vacuum entrance mats and carpet tiles and perform spot cleaning.

Lift, shake, flip, and clean floor mats in produce and entrance areas.

Clean and sanitize customer and employee restrooms, including floors, partitions, fixture areas, toilets, urinals, sinks, and mirrors.

Perform specialty floor projects when assigned, including deep scrubbing, recoating, stripping, refinishing, and polished-concrete maintenance.

Follow all product instructions, floor-specific procedures, and applicable OSHA safety requirements.

Avoid burnishing or applying floor finish to plank-style tile or any surface not approved for those treatments.

Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
