Line Cooks-Full Time Evening

Job duties include operating the grill station, fry station, assembly and dishwasher. We are a high volume kitchen so excellent teamwork is a must. This position is also open to cross-training at the Coati location.Position: CookSalary: $15.50/hour + tips (averages ~$19/hour)Job Type: Full-time, Part-timeRoles and Responsibilities:Prepare a variety of Latin inspired dishes according to established recipes and standardsFollow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our foodAssist in the preparation of ingredientsEnsure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented in an attractive and appetizing mannerCollaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that orders are completed quickly and efficientlyClean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and hygienic environmentAssist in the development of specials, as well as the creation of prep lists and par levelsContinuously seek out ways to improve our dishes, processes, and customer experienceQualifications:A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary industryStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety and sanitation standardsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededWe offer competitive pay, a supportive work environment, and ample opportunities for growth and advancement.
