Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

Deliver patient care by utilizing the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Administer and monitor patient responses to medications
Guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel
Maintain high customer service standards and professional nursing standards
Document patient assessment and care plans accurately
Assume role of charge nurse and demonstrate proficiency in Nursing Informatics
Participate in monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of patient care
Adhere to safety procedures and update knowledge of care techniques regularly
Maintain confidentiality and represent the hospital professionally

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required
Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
Documented attendance at Fetal Monitor Course every 2 years (Intermediate or Advanced)
Current certification in American Academy of Pediatric Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
Recent OB experience within the last 2 years required
CPI (Crisis Prevention) preferred
