Hospice CNA - Weekly pay

$22 - $24 per hour

Athena Hospice of Rhode Island is hiring a per diem CNA to join our growing team!

22 to $24 an hour with weekly pay. Candidate must be willing to travel and have an insured and reliable vehicle, and a valid driver's license.

Must hold an active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in this state.

At least one year of experience as a CNA.

Perform personal care needs for assigned patients, including bathing, dressing, undressing, and feeding

Assist with oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens as needed

Provide proper care and observation of the patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominences

Meet the safety needs of the patient and use equipment safely and properly

Assist with ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist

Offer and assist with bedpans and urinals, and help with light laundry needs
