Job Overview
An exceptional opportunity awaits for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Telemetry. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement patient care plans.
Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Maintain compliance with all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize critical thinking to address and resolve patient care issues promptly.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Telemetry nursing.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
Ability to float between like units as necessary to meet facility needs.
Must be willing to work weekends, with a rotation of every other weekend shifts.
Additional Information
Full-time position with a shift of 3 nights (19:00 - 07:00).
Block scheduling is not available.
Guarantee of hours subject to facility policy, with a call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.
Local candidates are not accepted due to the 50-mile radius restriction.
Ex-employees must be away for 1 year to return as a traveler; a limit of 2 contracts applies with a 6-month waiting period for rehire.
