GroundskeeperThe groundskeeper maintains and landscapes campus lawns, planting beds, wooded areas, trees and fields. Scheduled Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMKey Job Responsibilities:Implements and monitors chemical and fertilizer programsMaintains clean and clear lawns, walkways, roadways, and parking lots to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and iceConstructs lawn and landscaping projects including soil grading, seeding, and soddingIdentifies and acts to remedy plant diseases and insect damageInstalls, propagates, and maintains the health of new and existing plants and landscape using a variety of vehicles and equipmentDepartment: Facilities ManagementCompensation: $17.00/hourRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent GEDHold and maintain a valid Driver's LicensePhysical Demands: Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding and rooftop access stairs. Required to carry tools and parts often weighing 50 pounds or more. Use ropes and pulleys to hoist tools and parts to installation elevations.
