ICU Registered Nurse – Critical Care, Metairie, LA

Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Employment Type: Contract / PRN (as applicable)

Licenses/Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available at facility for $100)

Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience; Epic experience required

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95/hour

Weekly Pay Schedule via direct deposit

Medical Benefits: Additional Benefits: Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, lab work, and line starts

Referral Bonus Program: Provide high-quality patient care in ICU, including ICU-specific tasks like lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts

Operate advanced ICU equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines, Servo I ventilators, Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors, and GE monitors

Floats to all ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed, with patient ratios typically 1:2, sometimes 1:3 or 1:4

Ensure safety and compliance in all aspects of patient care, including isolation precautions and Covid-19 protocols

Current Louisiana RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH

At least 2 years of ICU experience, with CVICU experience highly preferred

Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Ability to float across ICU and related units as required

Strong clinical skills in critical care procedures and monitoring

This assignment is at a leading facility in Metairie, LA, specializing in critical care for complex and ICU patients.
