Full‑time first‑shift Medical Laboratory Technician at a busy community hospital. Responsible for performing laboratory tests, ensuring accuracy, maintaining equipment, and supporting quality assurance.

Conduct essential and advanced laboratory tests—such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established protocols.

Ensure accuracy of results, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and maintain lab equipment through regular calibration and preventive upkeep.

Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.

Document all processes, mentor new personnel, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.

Promote a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within first year of hire.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in quality assurance and documentation.
