Certified Medical Assistant
The Certified Medical Assistant will coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.
Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday - Friday

Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining vitals, performing EKGs, and updating medical histories.
Clinical Support and Testing.
Keep patients informed about their visit, testing processes, and next steps for care.

Partner closely with Providers and Nurses to coordinated care.
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) • CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA) • RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA) • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) • American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement.

Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required.
Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
