System Integration Engineering

As an Integrations Engineer at RXO, you'll play a critical role in analysis, design and solution engineering, working closely with developers and analysts. You'll lead day-to-day technical execution of TE migration, API projects in Apigee, Legacy EDI platforms scalability and maintenance.Collaborate with architects, other systems engineers, project managers, systems administrators, and operations analysts to design, code review, troubleshoot and implement solutionsEvaluate and optimize process and logic patterns, database structure, data storage methods and operating environment interfaces that effectively satisfy business requirements and quantifiable measures; develop appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established department standardsEvaluate new technologies for inclusion in developed software solutions; introduce new industry standards and techniques that deliver improved software solutions; guide software engineers.Design, develop, and unit test IBM B2bi, SFG, SSP by utilizing techniques in engineering, and mathematical analysis to lead efforts for customers and system upgradesTrain team members on advanced development concepts and organization standardsConduct thorough testing, perform root-cause analysis and provide L2/L3 support for integration issues in a multi-platform production environmentCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data mappings, interface specifications, and process flows, ensuring adherence to best practices and security protocolsImplement solutions using message queues like IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or cloud messaging services to ensure efficient and reliable asynchronous communication and data processingAt a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or equivalent related work or military experienceOne year of experience as an Engineer, Integrations or related and all the following skillsExperience with EDI and API platforms such as Apigee, Boomi, IBM Sterling File Gateway, MQ with solution Administrative and Development experience in medium to large corporate environmentsExperience with data transformation and data representation technologies (Model entities, XML, XPATH, XSLT)Process communication techniques (AS2, SFTP, JMS)Experience with iPaas platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft is desiredFamiliarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud.Why Join Us:Our BenefitsCompetitive payPaid time off includes: up to 8 holidays, up to 2 floating Diversity Days, Hourly: Earn up to 13 days PTO/ Salary: Earn up to 15 days PTO, up to 40 hours bereavement leave, up to 16 hours volunteer time, jury duty, at least 2 weeks family bonding leave, up to 40 hours prenatal care leave401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company matchInsurance: health, prescription, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life, short and long-term disability, accidental death and personal loss, business travel, legal services, ID theft, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition reimbursement, adoption assistanceTax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account, Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Spending AccountHealth Reimbursement ArrangementOur CultureOur values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.Fill out an application now and join our talent community to learn about future opportunities.
