Looking for CNC Machinist jobs in Portland where precision, technology, and craftsmanship come together? This opportunity lets you program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture high-quality components while supporting efficient production and exceptional quality.

This opportunity is based on a CNC Machinist career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.

Load and edit CNC programs as needed to ensure proper machining operations.

Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.

Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working order.

Document production activities, inspections, and quality results accurately.

Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to improve manufacturing processes.

High school diploma or GED

Technical or vocational training in machining preferred

2+ years of CNC experiece

Mechanical aptitude

Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers

Familiar with G-code and basis CNC programming is a plus
