Join Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading-edge, patient care is world-class, and caregivers are family. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the country. As a Laboratory Courier, you will perform daily, preventive maintenance of assigned vehicles and perform scheduled deliveries and pickups at all perimeter locations according to your established route and schedule. A caregiver in this position works day/evening| 11:00am-8:00pm| every other weekend.
Perform pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens to designated areas.
- Use appropriate handling, storage and transportation methods.
- Verify that delivery has been completed properly.
- Check all fluid levels daily and perform basic safety checks of mechanical operations.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license (VDL) and a good driving record
- Obtain and maintain eligibility as determined by Cleveland Clinic's insurance carrier's requirements to operate foundation vehicles
- Can work independently and organize and prioritize deliveries and pickups
- One year of experience as a courier
- Comfortable using a smart phone
- Knowledge of the area around Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus
Typical physical demands include full body motion including ability to lift and transport medium weight materials up to 50 lbs.
Ability to spend long hours driving and working in all weather conditions

~ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
