Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift weekend position requiring an active Iowa or compact RN license.
Details

• Work in the LDRP unit of a hospital setting
• Cares for patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatric patients
• Night shift schedule: 7p-7a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 13-week assignment

Requirements
Active RN license in Iowa or compact license, in good standing with the Board of Nursing
Graduate of an accredited RN program, BSN preferred
Current BLS certification (AHA Heart Code) required
Current ACLS certification required
Acute care nursing experience preferred
Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer proficiency
Additional Information
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team using evidence-based practice to ensure safe, optimal patient outcomes
Direct the work of support staff in the provision of patient care
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and coworkers to promote continuity of care
Apply critical thinking and sound nursing judgment with minimal supervision
Demonstrate empathy, tact, and kindness toward patients and families
