On-Budget Operations
The Human Resource Generalist I supports key HR functions across the organization with a strong focus on compensation and benefits administration, while also assisting with talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, HR administration, HRIS management, and employment documentation. This role serves as a primary resource for employees and managers regarding benefit programs, compensation-related processes, leave administration, and HR policies, ensuring a positive employee experience and consistent application of company practices.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related role
Preferably a Bachelor's degree in a related field
Business acumen and in-depth knowledge of HR law and HR best practices
Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and HR administrative functions
Proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and general office software
Provides guidance on HR policies, procedures, employment law, and compliance requirements
Manages onboarding processes, including offer letters and new hire documentation
Supports recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate communication, and ATS maintenance
Provides administrative support to Talent Acquisition (reporting, scheduling, special projects)
Coordinates workers' compensation claims, including reporting and communication with stakeholders
Maintains accurate, confidential employee records in compliance with regulations
Utilizes HRIS to manage employee data, process changes, and generate reports
Supports compensation initiatives, including analysis, benchmarking, pay equity reviews, and HR metrics
Assists in developing and updating HR policies and procedures
