PRN Advanced Practice Nurse

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with our Centralized Staffing PRN Pool , you'll provide care to client employees within our Wellness Centers located in Miami, FL. The scheduled hours are PRN as needed, day shift. No nights or weekends. Three years experience in primary care or family medicine required. Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines

Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management

Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care

Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development

Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care

Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies

Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed

Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records

Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices

Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice

Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice

Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)

Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services

At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
