Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse - Contract Position

Mission Memorial Hospital, Asheville, NC

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4 days a week

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab with a strong focus on patient care and safety. This role requires proficiency in various electrophysiological procedures and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the performance of electrophysiology studies and ablation therapies.

Prepare patients and maintain equipment for procedures.

Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.

Document procedures in the EMR system (Cerner).

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license

ACLS and BLS certification

Experience in an Electrophysiology lab is essential.

Preferred: RCES or RCIS certification, RT (R) certification.
