Description of Responsibilities

Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations
Collaborate with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting technical issues
Keep detailed documentation of procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
Continuously enhance your expertise by staying updated with the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques
Education Requirements
Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
