A great way to spend your college summers! Our Summer Camp Counselors live in-cabin with 8-12 campers and either lead activities, or take campers around to activities throughout the day. They mentor campers and provide a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience for them throughout 1-5 week sessions. As a counselor, you have the option to be a cabin leader and take your campers around to each activity area throughout the day, or an activity leader, where you will be trained in and lead campers in one department of your choice: fine arts, Waterfront/pool, Outdoors, Ropes, or Sports. You also have the option of working in our media department as a photographer/videographer.

Each summer, we hire counselors from a wide range of cities and countries across the US and the rest of the world! If getting paid to drive jet skis on Lake LBJ, lifeguarding at the pool, acting in silly skits, or belaying at our incredible high ropes courses sounds like a great way to spend your summer, Orientation starts May 19 and camp runs from June 2-August 10; we prefer that our counselors work at least 6 weeks during this time and are able to attend all or most of orientation.
