Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to support our client's medical facility in Grand Rapids, MI 49503 or Farmington Hills MI 48336 and Royal Oak MI

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) (Traveler)

Contract Length: 26 Weeks to 38 Weeks

Shift: Day and Night

Yes Tax Free Stipend included (Lodging and Meals ,incidental .)

Perform specimen handling, processing, and laboratory testing procedures accurately

Analyze specimens using approved laboratory testing methods and SOPs

Maintain testing records, QC documentation, calibrations, and maintenance logs

Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety standards

Perform quality control and ensure compliance with QA procedures

Identify testing issues and troubleshoot or escape concerns appropriately

Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records

Participate in training, departmental meetings, and safety programs

Support regulatory inspections and additional departmental duties as assigned

BS in Medical Technology preferred, or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associate degree in Laboratory Science/Medical Technology

Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred

Strong knowledge of QC/QA procedures and laboratory operations

Experience working with multiple computer systems and laboratory software

Strong communication and customer service skills

Commitment to patient confidentiality and laboratory compliance standards

Experience in Core Lab rotations including Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis preferred
