BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Aberdeen, SD facility. Our Manufacturing Engineers work with our Shop Technicians to develop and maintain the processes that safely produce our products correctly, on-time and within budget. Monday through Thursday. As an Engineer at our Aberdeen facility you will be responsible for the following:

Promote a culture of safety, quality, schedule and cost
Take part in quality investigations, including Root Cause Corrective Actions
Review, approve and implement engineering changes to ensure proper configuration control
Identify and communicate training needs and skills gaps in the teams
Carry out training when necessary
Provide and/or identify mentoring and coaching opportunities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or technical discipline and four (4) years of related experience, or the overall equivalent • Experience working in a manufacturing environment • Ability to work well in a team environment • Effective communication skills, written and verbal • Solid problem solving and analytical abilities Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Defense or aerospace manufacturing environment experience
Experience with manufacturing database software such as Oracle and TIPQA
Hands-on floor support experience, working with shop employees
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
