Description:
This is a backfill contract position for an RN in a Bone Marrow Transplant outpatient clinic.
The assignment is for 13 weeks with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
No call is required.
The unit has 15 clinic rooms and a team of 5 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician, 1 Scheduler, and 1 Social Worker.
The average patient ratio is 6-8 patients per day.
Key procedures include infusions of chemotherapy, IVIG, and blood product transfusions such as PRBCs, platelets, and plasma.
Teamwork is essential on this unit, which fosters close relationships among staff due to its small size.
The required scrub color is navy for tops and bottoms.
The facility is the only Transplant and Cellular Therapy clinic in its region and is part of a renowned network.
