Part-Time Receptionist

Position Summary Longue Vue Club is seeking a personable, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for our members, guests, and vendors, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and polished Club experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is organized and detail-oriented, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The schedule will consist primarily of evenings and weekends, averaging 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to assist with additional shifts as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for members, guests, vendors, and visitors.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, assist with general inquiries, and take accurate messages when necessary.

Greet members and guests and provide assistance or direction throughout the Club.

Accurately take and enter reservations for Club events, dining, and other activities, ensuring all necessary details and member requests are properly recorded.

Assist members with reservation changes, event questions, dining information, and general Club inquiries.

Utilize the Club’s club management software for reservations, member information, and other daily functions. Training on the Club’s systems and software will be provided.

Create, update, and print daily dining menus and other Club materials as needed.

Communicate effectively with all Club departments to ensure member requests and information are handled appropriately.

Provide general administrative and clerical support, including printing, copying, filing, data entry, and preparation of materials.

Assist the Administrative Assistant and members of the management team with additional projects, administrative duties, and operational tasks as assigned.

Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception area.

Stay informed about upcoming Club events, dining hours, activities, and general operations in order to accurately assist members.

Work collaboratively with fellow reception staff and other departments to support smooth day-to-day Club operations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling member reservations and information.

Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently when needed.

Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a professional manner.

Comfortable using computers and learning new software and systems; experience with Microsoft Office and Canva is preferred.

Previous receptionist, administrative, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling member and Club information.

Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks and adapt to the day-to-day needs of the Club.

Schedule Part-time, 15-20+ hours per week.

Starting at $16/hour

Availability for evenings and weekends is required.

Additional weekday or daytime hours may occasionally be available based on Club needs.
