The Company is in search of a Senior Counsel to join their team as a strategic legal advisor. This role is pivotal for a growing organization within the construction and AEC industries, and the successful candidate will not be confined to a traditional legal position. Instead, the Senior Counsel will be deeply involved in the business, working directly with executives and operations leaders to negotiate major agreements, manage risk, and support project teams. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position should have a minimum of 7 years' legal experience, with a strong background in construction contracting. The role requires a candidate with a significant understanding of risk allocation, project delivery, and experience in negotiating complex construction and commercial agreements. Practical business judgment and the ability to provide actionable advice to non-legal stakeholders are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in design-build, design-assist, or engineering services, and be adept at developing contract standards, playbooks, and scalable legal processes.
