• $The Diagnostic Radiologist will provide diagnostic radiology services for Alameda Health System, under employment from Alameda Health Medical Group. Services will be on-site at Highland Hospital, San Leandro Hospital, and Alameda Hospital.

Image interpretation: analyze and interpret various diagnostic images, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray to diagnose and monitor medical conditions

• Patient care: work closely with referring physicians to discuss findings, provide diagnostic reports, and offer recommendations for further testing or treatment
• Quality assurance: ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy through adherence to established protocols and standards
• Collaboration: collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologic technologists, surgeons, and oncologists to develop comprehensive patient care plans
• Continuing education: stay current with advancements in radiology and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Completion of a four-year program to earn either a Doctor of Medicine (M.or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.degree from an accredited medical school.

Training: Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology (integrated program).

Certifications: Current status board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and/or Interventional Radiology; must maintain California Radiology Supervisor and Operator Certificate.

Valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California; The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
