Write automation primarily in Go and Python, using AI tools as the default approach for coding and iteration.
Own automation workflows end to end, from identifying toil through building and shipping reliable solutions.
Participate in cross-functional projects across the Hardware Lifecycle Engineering platform.
Demonstrate work to engineering audiences and make complex automation systems easy for other groups to use and understand.
Have some exposure to Python or Go through coursework, internships, personal projects, or early professional experience, roughly 0–2 years.
Default to AI-assisted development with tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar tools.
Use sound judgment to verify, reject, or revise AI-generated work and escalate issues when appropriate.
Be comfortable using Linux, particularly Ubuntu LTS, or be eager to learn it quickly.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally and work comfortably in an asynchronous, remote environment.
