Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Every third holiday required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 35-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown unit serving adult and geriatric populations with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring diagnoses
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 and collaborate with patient care techs assigned at a 1:10 ratio
Titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Float as needed to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units
Participate in unit onboarding during the first week followed by 1–2 days of floor-specific orientation
Demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Must achieve a minimum score of 90% on the unit skills assessment administered during orientation
Artificial nails are prohibited; compliance with facility fingernail policy is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
Experience titrating cardiac and neurological drips
Familiarity with continuous EEG monitoring in a clinical setting
