Installation, Maintenance and Repair Tech

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the

Maintenance Mechanic

will be primarily responsible for assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of production equipment within the facility.

Assist with diagnosing, tearing down, and repairing problems or equipment on plant systems

Work from drawings, plans or sketches, fabricating equipment, fixtures, devices, etc. Utilize test equipment, instruments, measuring devices and controls, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment

Assist in maintaining workflow of maintenance work requests.

Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout the facility

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years of mechanic experience within an industrial maintenance environment preferred

Formal technical training is preferred but not required

Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred but not required

Basic understanding of working with plumbing, plastic, copper and/or black iron

Basic understanding with welding/fabrication, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Ability to perform stick, mig, and tig welding

27.30 - 39.10 USD Hourly
